Your terms and conditions of employment

We can translate your contract of employment into plain English and tell you what you can and cannot do under its terms. We will also tell you if your contract complies with the law. If you have sufficient power to negotiate your terms of employment, we can assist you with this process.

Your employer may have decided that he wants to change your terms and conditions of employment. There may be good business reasons why, but your employer usually will not be able to do so without your agreement. If you are going to be worse off, you are entitled to complain as this may amount to constructive dismissal. If you leave your complaint too long, or if you do it in the wrong way, you may find yourself losing your case in the employment tribunals.

We can help you with the process of protesting about any adverse change and increase your chances of resolving the problem successfully.
