Every employee has the right to be treated with dignity at work. Being discriminated against can be the most isolating experience any one can suffer at work.
We have acted for clients in respect of claims for:
• Sex and race discrimination and harassment - you have a right not to be discriminated against on grounds of your age, sex, race, religion, religious or philosophical belief, or sexual orientation. This covers every aspect of employment from recruitment, access to training and promotion, pay scales, to dismissal and selection for redundancy. If your employer punishes you for bringing a complaint, this is very likely to amount to victimisation. We also represent women encountering problems on their return from maternity leave.
• Disability discrimination - it is illegal to discriminate against an employee or potential employee on grounds that they are disabled. Employers may also have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to their workplace and processes to accommodate a disabled employee.
• Bullying – bullying can amount to discrimination or give rise to other employment tribunal complaints. We can assist you in tackling this problem.
